[Nodding her head, Perona mutters an 'alright' under her breath and reaches out for for the young woman's hand. She's a little unsure even now, but the girl's got a point - if you put your heart into something, the outcome doesn't always matter so long as you try with all your heart. Here's just hoping she doesn't make too much of a fool of herself. If anything, they can dance the way she's good at after, perhaps.]
[Rue takes Perona's hand and stands behind her, though she's never had to be in the male partner's role with a taller girl before.]
It won't be too hard. [Rue directs with her hands and shifts in weight more than anything else; she chooses something easy, a short piece that wouldn't contain anything too strenuous or complicated.
[This is indeed rather...awkward, to say the least. Perona's naturally rather tall, and wearing heels doesn't exactly help lower her height any. Thankfully, she can quite literally float if necessary, and she's a good listener and dancer, even if this isn't her preferred style. She's a quick learner, and can adapt to certain circumstances very fast. It's a natural ability, and it's kept her alive on an untamed sea.
But this is a little more controlled, and a lot less dangerous. So, Perona exhales and lets her body relax, prepared to take any and all cues from the young lady helping her. She's ready when you are, little miss.]
[And Rue is not so tall, but she is the best dancer at Gold Crown Academy and she is about to prove it.
Slowly, humming the beat of the music for Perona's sake, she guides her through a few steps and turns, a tug here and a nudge there to show her which way to go. The heels and height difference and Perona's inexperience are not so much strikes against them as they are factors that give a bit of unique wobble to their shared dance.]
[It takes some time for Perona to really get her true balance, but once she does, she follows the girl's instructions very well. She's a graceful and flexible young woman, and she knows how to work her body to move with fluidity if she wants it to. The steps come easily after she gets a hang of it, and soon enough she's not just following the young lady, but moving with her.
Ah, she hasn't danced like this in what felt like forever, and with a partner no less. She forget how much nicer it is when you have someone to dance with - it's such a fun thing to do; very relaxing as well. When they finish, Perona's smiling serenely - she hasn't enjoyed herself like that in weeks now.]
[It's early for a visitor; Rue's still in her nightgown when she stumbles her way to the wall - because the door has moved, hasn't it - and finally cracks the door to peer out.]
[She can't rightly argue with dancing, though the hour and their attire are questionable. He smiled at her, a real smile, and she can ignore all of that for this.]
[He's silent and smiling as he takes her hands in his as he initiates this dance. The time and attire are both irrelevant to him, along with the possibility of anyone seeing them; his only concern is expressing this random act of affection. So he twirls her around gently.]
[It's happened so relatively soon, and he simply put himself into the act of following out that emotion without really dwelling on identifying it. So it takes him a moment to respond]
[He pauses for a moment, trying to identify the emotion. To match it up with the emotions he's felt in the past. And as he answers, he pauses the dance to try to wrap her in an embrace.]

I'll...follow your lead then?

It won't be too hard. [Rue directs with her hands and shifts in weight more than anything else; she chooses something easy, a short piece that wouldn't contain anything too strenuous or complicated.
The important thing is that they dance at all.]

You weren't bad at all.
[Action - Nov. 24]
He softly raps at Rue's door before standing there robotically.]
[Action - Nov. 24]
Mytho? What are you doing up so early?
[Action - Nov. 24]
[He says quietly and with an unusual lightness as he glances towards her. The door's just in the way of expressing his affection.]
And I wanted to see you.
[Action - Nov. 24]
Is something wrong?
[Action - Nov. 24]
[He says with the shadow of a smile. And he reaches to immediately pull her into a dance, right in the hallway.]
[Action - Nov. 24]
[She can't rightly argue with dancing, though the hour and their attire are questionable. He smiled at her, a real smile, and she can ignore all of that for this.]

[Action - Nov. 24]
[To change him again. Which is it this time?]
[Action - Nov. 24]
I feel... an emotion.
[Action - Nov. 24]
[Her eyes widen at the possibility of love. Of danger.]
[Action - Nov. 24]
[He pauses for a moment, trying to identify the emotion. To match it up with the emotions he's felt in the past. And as he answers, he pauses the dance to try to wrap her in an embrace.]
...affection.
[Action - Nov. 24]
Affection couldn't wait until after sunrise?
[Action - Nov. 24]
[He keeps the hug there for the moment, pressing his cheek against her as he murmurs lightly towards her ear.]
Should I feel... sorrow, for not waiting? Is this what you want, Rue?
[Action - Nov. 24]
[I only want you to love me, but it doesn't form in words. Instead her hand tightens around his.]
[Action - Nov. 24]
Okay. And I... I want you to be happy, Rue.
[Action - Nov. 24]
[She isn't asking him but there's no way he's going to know that.]
[Action - Nov. 24]
I don't think so. My feels of devotion... and my feelings of affection... Both of them give me this want.
[Action - Nov. 24]
[Not her ordinary direction when discussing his feelings.]
Someday you'll...you'll have a lot of feelings and you won't be able to choose just one or two that way.
[Action - Nov. 24]
Is that how it feels... having a complete heart?
[Action - Nov. 24]
[Action - Nov. 24]
When my heart's complete... Maybe then I'll know.
